FeedPrep's AI features — AI-assisted value mapping and AI-assisted column mapping — use credits. Credits are a simple, predictable way to pay for AI usage without recurring charges you can't control.
AI Is Optional
FeedPrep's core product works entirely without AI. Column mapping, value mapping, transform rules, unit conversion, exports — none of these require credits. AI is an optional accelerator that helps you map values and columns faster, especially during initial setup. If you prefer to do everything manually, you can.
Credit Packs
Credit packs are a one-time purchase. Credits never expire — use them whenever you need them. Larger packs offer a lower cost per credit.

You can purchase packs from Settings > Billing > AI Credits. Multiple packs stack — buy as many as you need.
What Uses Credits
Two actions consume credits:

Credit usage is shown before you confirm each AI action, so there are no surprises.
Monthly Bonus Credits
Every plan includes a small number of bonus credits each month, included at no extra cost. These reset at the start of each billing cycle.

Bonus credits are enough to try AI features and handle light ongoing usage. For heavier use — like onboarding a new supplier with hundreds of unmapped values — purchased credit packs fill the gap.
Credit Consumption Order
When you use an AI feature, the system always consumes bonus credits first. Purchased credits are only used after your monthly bonus credits are depleted. This means your purchased credits last as long as possible.
You can see your current credit balance (bonus and purchased separately) at any time from Settings > Billing > AI Credits.
